Thank you for your interest in my counseling practice. 

A bit about me professionally...

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing at MDS Counseling Center.  I am a graduate of Naropa University and I hold a Master's Degree in Transpersonal Counseling with an emphasis in Psychological Counseling.  I chose Naropa because of its contemplative approach to education and the practice of psychotherapy.  My theoretical orientation is eclectic and incorporates mindfullness practices, body awareness, relaxation, imagery and learning to identify and work with one's thoughts and feelings.  I engage in a strength based, holistic approach to healing and personal growth that is sometimes referred to as 'positive psychology'.  I believe it is important for each of us to develop self-awareness and a clear perspective of our experiences with the others with whom we have relationships.  I am trained in EMDR and have experience working with a broad range of trauma including developmental trauma,  physical and emotional abuse and sexual abuse. In addition, I work with depression, anxiety, OCD and relationship issues.

For the Interested...

The scope of my practice includes  adults of all ages, ethnic & spiritual backgrounds, gender, gender expression, and sexual orientation, as well as, diverse socioeconomic levels.  I offer sliding scale rates based on household income levels. 

Rate Scale...My session rates range from $50.00 to $125.00 for a one hour session.
